This has to be the least expensive non stick cook ware ever available on amazon. Okay. I’ll give it five stars based on the rice it produces and easy of use and design. It does indeed make pretty much perfect rice, white, brown, wild, etc. as well as other grains. It comes with a little measuring cup.

I used to think that a rice cooker was a pot on top of a stove. Then I got a $10 rice cooker at a drug store and it never burnt the rice and that was pretty cool. Eventually the cheap non-stick on that gave way, but I kept using it, losing a bit of rice to the pan, until it gave out.

The pot worked as expected and does have a tendency to sputter and bubble out through the cover lid vent. That would be acceptable but we returned it as the pot is not solid stainless steel. It is plated and the interior plating started to flake off after only a couple of uses.into the food.
