I do a lot of research on higher priced items.This item had some good reviews.I got mine today.First,handle a bit hard to install.Thats ok,I got it.Washed before using and assembled.Turn it on to low temp to preheat then went to high,450 degrees.35 minutes later,256 degrees was the highest temp it would go.Turn it off and let it cool.Tried again.

As others report, these are substandard products. Both of mine have discolored and become ineffective after use at 350 for making English muffins. The last batch stuck badly, and the silicone appears to be permanently transferred to the high-end half-sheet baking pans. See attached photos.

I used the grill three times and the fan stopped working, the entire house is smoky. That sucks because I would take a chance and buy it again but I paid $99.00 now it’s selling for $154.00. Amazon is refunding my account and I’m sending it back.
