These things look like they were made by an amateur in a pottery class. The glaze has dimples in it on most of the plates and bowls. On top of that they are misshapen. The bowls are rounded squares but some of them are just round on some sides. They also aren’t the same size or shape.

They get 1 star because they are pretty dishes and honestly you can give them none. They do say that get hot in the microwave but I was not prepared for just how hot they truly get. I bought 2 sets and I’m now down to about one set. Just stacking them up in the cabinet chips them or accidentally knocking them against something in the dishwasher.

One star is too many. Very disappointed. The quality is extreamly poor. The large plates are warped (see pic) they don’t stack evenly. Some of the salads plates are white and some are greyish. And they are different sizes(see pic) a few of the salad plates have bumps and or pits on them. They bowls are a even darker grey than the plates?

Who ever made these must have been blind folded.
The plates sag, twist, and droop like wet pie dough.
The plates do not fit together evenly when stacked, and look like they may be from different sets.
The bowls are out of round, and do not nest together well.

I don’t usually leave negative reviews for products, but I want people to know what we experienced before purchasing these plates.
Both sizes of plates and the bowls have experienced a great deal of chipping in about a year’s use. Additionally, the plates are not microwave safe, as they are very poorly sealed.

These as beautiful as they are do not last! I’ve had two chip in the dishwasher where the enamel is coming off them and there are multiple surface cracks appearing on the plates. For the price I expected them to last way longer. Super disappointed .

We really liked the looks of this rack, and SimpleHuman is a revered brand… but the rack is a mold and mildew factory. There are so many tight nooks and crannies that we have to take this out to the laundry sink and dismantle and scrub it down about once a month. It was relatively expensive for a dish rack, so we’ve held on to it.

This is how I recieved the so called ”chip and break resistant” plates. They just threw them inside a box without any protection and not even using a sheet of paper between the plates. A couple are broken during the shipment. Also the color of the design on the dinner plates are not consistent.
