I was thrilled to receive this lovely drying rack as it helps save space in my small house. I have had many different types of racks over the years and I am particularly happy with having a rack that will not hold moisture and stain (as wood does) and will not rust (as many metal racks will).

The product is STRONG. This is true, and the product is reusable but there were NO DIRECTIONS in the box describing how to remove the product. I hung the product crooked and went to remove it and it tore the paint right off of my wall.

I ordered the set of 50 based on the 3k reviews. When I took them out of the bag, I placed them on my bed- a king size with white sheets. Immediately, I discovered a cloud of black dust all over the place. I ran my hand on the hanger, and the velvet flocking just came off. If you read other reviews, you will see similar experiences.

These broke easily also contains lead!!!! My daughter had lead in her one year routine blood test. We live in a newer home so we couldn’t figure out what would of caused this. So we bought a hone test kit everything tested negative until I tried it on the metal part if her hangers!!! This is dangerous and not ok!!!

Product is pretty sturdy when moving on a laminate floor. What I really don’t like is that you cannot fully hang two sets of adult cloths as the bars are too close together. So you really only have one bar for adult cloths to use. The picture I feel misrepresents the product.

I bought these hangers because of the great reviews. Unfortunately, I am disappointed and am returning them! Why? 2 reasons … one minor and one major:
The major reason: The black velvet dust that they leave everywhere they go, including on my shirts! Before I bought them, I was worried that velvet hangers would leave velvet dust.

I came back to buy more of these hangers and found the other reviewer’s review about how these hangers contain lead. I was so shock and had to test it out myself. You know what, she is 100% right, my 3M lead test showed me the metal part of the hanger definitely contains lead. All into the trash now.

These were the highest rated hangers and were at a good price… Well, the one star reviews were accurate. I pulled the hangers out and rubbed the velvet between two fingers. SO MUCH black velvet dust or specks came off and stuck to my hand. When I looked at where I laid the hangers on the floor, I can see a film of the black dust.

These hangers were a big disappointment for two reasons. First, they are very thin and do not have the support and strength of other velvet hangers. Second, AND MOST IMPORTANTLY, the velvet comes off the hanger onto the clothes creating a real mess.

I am SO DISAPPOINTED and SHOCKED by this laundry rack! Every other AmazonBasics product I own (cables, kitchen mat, batteries etc) is very high quality and totally what I wanted/needed, so I thought this rack was a no-brainer: less expensive than other racks and a brand that I know and trust. Well, I THOUGHT that until I got this piece of junk.
