After receiving this product I immediately went to wash them out as any one should do with a product that will be containing food items. All I used was running water and a wash cloth and somehow water still ended up getting in between the plastic and metal on the lid.

I have yet to use this product. I just removed one of the cutting items from its package and literally skinned the tip of my finger off!! Bleeding profusely!!! The main blade is taped up for safety, but all the attachments are bagged, but nothing is done to protect yourself from the blade when retrieving out of the bag!

I have always loved food and have been an avid cook for decades. I wanted to move up from the cheapo Farberware and other such “ordinary” tools to a better set and bought Cuisinart, because I didn’t quite want to go as far up as AllClad with the $1,200 set.
I am sorry to say that I found out soon enough why these are as cheap as this.

I own about 30 of the Bardwill tea towels (various colors and patterns). Thought I’d give these a try instead since they are ‘pro grade’. What a joke. They are about as thin as a handkerchief. In fact, they are so thin, they are see through.
