I expected a much thicker table pad based on the product picture, but what I got was a lot thinner.
I read reviews saying it does not slip, but mine does. I have it on a solid wood dining table. My kids will do crafts and sit with their elbows on the table, and it slides around. I’m constantly having to shift it back in place.

Disappointed. Very thin. The picture I uploaded is my current table pad on the left (purchased a few years ago at Costcofor about $10 more than this one.); this pad is on the right. As you can see from the pic, this pad is MUCH thinner. I would not trust it to protect my new table from heat.

Do not buy this if you’re looking for an absorbent coaster. I purchased these because they clearly state that they are absorbent coasters. After receiving today and putting an iced drink on the coaster, the liquid pools on top of the coaster and is not absorbed whatsoever.
