Initial reaction when I had first received this Carpet cleaner, was pretty good. Opened the box, only thing I had to assemble was the handle and it was ready to go. Most of the 5-Star reviews have covered the good part of its functioning. I will highlight what they may not have experienced yet.

Very disappointing! We named ours Bob, and let me tell you he wasn’t the hard working man I was hoping for. Bob spent most of his employment driving from one random side of the house to the other like a junkie looking for his next fix. It appears that this model 2300 is being phased out. Amazon does not mention this. Amazon calls it a special for Prime members. You cannot get the replacement filter, bissell part number 1611508 or 1611500, from Bissell, Amazon, or in Google search. Bissell and Amazon claim the filter is washable and does not need to be replaced.

There should be a rule that no review can be done on a vacuum cleaner until it has undergone 6 months of daily use. My guess is that many of the 5 Star Reviews on the Linx would drop considerably.
I loved the Linx for 4 months. It was sweet.

I ordered this vacuum and when I read the set up instructions, I was shocked to learn it basically needs its own room to dock in. There needs to be 6 clear feet on each side and several feet in front. It’s ironic since I purchased it for a small home never thinking it’s docking space would be an issue.
